Itinerary

Day 1Guest Arrival in Dhaka and Airport Pickup

On this day, we have planned to meet and welcome you in Dhaka, where our guide will be waiting for you at the airport. Once you arrive, our guide will assist you in checking into your hotel, allowing you to rest and relax. If it’s feasible, we can also arrange a city sightseeing tour of the capital city, Bangladesh.

To ensure proper coordination, please provide us with your arrival flight details so that our guide can be prepared to welcome you at the airport. After receiving your flight information, we will finalize the day’s activities accordingly.

Day 2Journey to Mongla

In the morning, you will complete your breakfast first. Then we will start our journey to Mongla. The purpose of going to Mongla is to experience the world’s biggest Mangrove forest, the Sundarbans. This is also recognized as a Natural World Heritage Site by UNESCO. We will touch and feel the Sundarbans and taste the local food. After you arrive at Mongla Ferry Ghat, we will take you to the eco-resort near the Sundarbans using a small passenger boat or any other appropriate mode of transport.

After check-in, we will have our tasty lunch at the resort. If time allows, we will cruise the Sundarban canals on a wooden local country-boat.

Day 3Exploring Karamjal Eco Tourism Center in Sundarbans and Mosque City of Bagerhat

After having our breakfast, we will start to check out the resort. If we do not experience the canal cruising the previous day, we will do it this morning. After that, we will start our journey to the Karamjal Eco Tourism Center. After arrival, we will explore it as much as possible. We will try to feel the Sundarbans Mangrove Forest by visiting this spot. This is the only crocodile breeding center in the Sundarbans.

In the afternoon, we will travel to Bagerhat, known as the mosque city and recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The city is famous for Islamic architecture and medieval history. We will explore the city by visiting the Sixty Dome Mosque and the shrine of Hazrat Khan Jahan. After that, head to Khulna and check in at your hotel there.

Day 4Journey to Rajshahi

Today, we will head to Rajshahi from Khulna after completing our breakfast. This is a long journey. If we have enough time, we may visit the Mausoleum of Lalon Shah and enjoy the Lalon songs from the Bauls, who are the devotees of Lalon. Baul songs are recognized as one of the intangible heritages in the world.

Upon arrival in Rajshahi, you will check into your hotel and rest.

Day 5Visit the Temple-town Puthia and Sompur Mahavihara World Heritage Site

Our today’s plan includes embarking on a trip from Rajshahi to Naogaon. We will visit the temple-town Puthia on the way to Naogaon. Here, we will engage in visiting some prominent tourist attractions such as Puthia Palace, and various ancient and medieval Hindu temples within the allotted time.

Naogaon is celebrated for its rich cultural and historical heritage, with the notable Sompur Buddhist Mahavihara standing out as a renowned attraction. This magnificent site has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and holds great significance as one of the five ancient universities constructed in the Indian subcontinent.

Afterward, we will go to Bogura and settle into our hotel for the night.

Day 6Exploring the Ancient Pundra Civilization

Bogura, often referred to as the gateway of North Bengal, holds great historical significance as it was once the land of the Pundra Civilization and served as the capital of the ancient Pundra Kingdom, known as Pundrabardhan. Throughout history, it has been an important administrative center for dynasties like the Maurya, Gupta, Pala, and Sena. Today, our plan is to explore Bogura and visit its prominent tourist attractions. Our itinerary includes exploring the Mahasthangarh Fort City, Gokul Medh, Govinda Vita, and Vashu Vihara. We aspire to explore as many tourist attractions as we can.

Afterward, we will go to Rajshahi and settle into our hotel for the night.

Day 7Return to Dhaka and Sightseeing in the City

After breakfast, we will begin our return journey to Dhaka. Upon arrival, you’ll check into your hotel and have some time to rest. In the afternoon, we’ll set out for a city sightseeing tour of Dhaka, aiming to cover as many attractions as time allows. Once the tour concludes, we’ll return to your hotel, followed by dinner on schedule.

Day 8Airport Drop-off and End of the Tour

We will end our tour on this day in Dhaka. You will check out of your hotel on time. Our guide will pick you up from your hotel and drop you off at the Dhaka airport.
