Itinerary

Day 1Guest arrival in Dhaka and airport pickup

On this day, we have planned to meet and welcome you in Dhaka, where our guide will be waiting for you at the airport. Once you arrive, our guide will assist you in checking into your hotel, allowing you to rest and relax. If it’s feasible, we can also arrange a city sightseeing tour of the capital city, Bangladesh. 

To ensure proper coordination, please provide us with your arrival flight details so that our guide can be prepared to welcome you at the airport. After receiving your flight information, we will finalize the day’s activities accordingly.

Day 2Trip to Bengal old capital Sonargaon

You’ll head out to Sonargaon, the former capital located not far from Dhaka, to dig into the region’s history. The day includes walking through Panam City’s ruins, checking out the Folk Art and Crafts Museum to see local craftsmanship, and visiting Boro Sardar Bari Palace. After spending time at these sites learning about the area’s past, you’ll return to your hotel in Dhaka by evening.

Day 3Journey to Barishal and sightseeing in the city

An air-conditioned vehicle takes you from Dhaka to Barishal. Once you arrive and check into your hotel, you’ll have time to rest and settle in. Later in the afternoon or early evening, a city tour lets you wander through different neighborhoods and get a feel for how locals live and work in Barishal.

Day 4Experiencing floating life in Barishal and Visiting the World Heritage Site in Bagerhat

On this day, we will explore floating life in Barishal. We will visit different places in Barishal. Rivers have a massive influence on local people’s lives. We will make a boat tour to the floating market and try to experience the local lifestyle. To get the best possible experience, we will start the tour very early in the morning.

Our itinerary includes a visit to Bagerhat, an important city in southwestern Bangladesh renowned for its Islamic architecture, medieval history, and UNESCO World Heritage Site. If our time allows, we will also visit the Tomb of Khan Jahan. After that, we will start our journey to Mongla. After arrival, we will check in to our resort located near the Sundarbans.

NB: You have the opportunity to visit the Boithakata Floating Market on Saturdays and Tuesdays. Conversely, the Vimruli Floating Guava Market is usually active between July and September, with late July to mid-August being the optimal time for travel. Taking this into account, we will tailor the tour to accommodate our tourists accordingly.

Day 5Adventure in the Sundarbans from Mongla

Sundarbans, the largest mangrove forest in the world, is renowned for being the habitat of the Royal Bengal Tiger. Situated in Bangladesh, it is also recognized as a World Heritage Site. In the morning, we will embark on a mesmerizing canal boat trip to fully immerse ourselves in the beauty of this enchanting forest.

Our itinerary includes a visit to the Karamjal tourist zone within the Sundarbans. This is a crocodile breeding center. We will walk on the trails of this forest.

After completing the Sundarbans tour, we will head to Khulna to stay at night there.

NB: During the months of June to August, tourism activities are restricted within the Sundarbans to ensure the safe breeding and movement of fish and wildlife. Consequently, if this tour is booked during that period, we will modify the itineraries to include alternative tourist spots for travelers to visit instead.

Day 6Journey to Kushtia

In the morning, we will have breakfast. After that, we will check out of our hotel and begin our journey to Kushtia. After arriving in Kushtia, we will check into our hotel and rest. If our time and energy allow, we will do some city sightseeing in Kushtia.

Day 7Cultural Experience in Kushtia and Return to Dhaka

After having breakfast in the morning, we will check out of our hotel. Then, we will go to the Lalon Cultural Center, which is also the Mausoleum of Lalon Shah. He was a spiritual saint known for Baul folk songs, his philosophical teachings, and studies of the human body.

After the cultural experience in Kushtia, we will return to Dhaka.

Day-8Airport Drop Off and End of the Tour

We will end our tour on this day in Dhaka. You will check out from your hotel on time. Our guide will pick you up from your hotel and drop you off at Dhaka airport.
