Once you arrive, our guide will assist you in checking into your hotel, allowing you to rest and relax. If it’s feasible, we can also arrange a city sightseeing tour of the capital city, Bangladesh.

On this day, we will visit Sonargaon near Dhaka. Sonargaon is a former capital of Bangladesh that is steeped in history and culture. The city was a center of trade and commerce. Today, it is a popular tourist destination and is home to many historic landmarks and cultural attractions. Some of the most notable sites include the Panam City ruins, the Folk Art and Crafts Museum, and the Goaldi Mosque. Visitors to Sonargaon can explore the city’s rich history and learn about the vibrant culture of Bangladesh.

Our morning drive takes us from Swiss lakes to Swiss Army. At the once-secret Swiss army bunker at Fortress Fürigen, we’ll see part of the massive defense system designed to keep Switzerland strong and neutral. Afterward, a short drive into the countryside brings us to the charming Alpine village of Engelberg, our picturesque home for the next two days. We’ll settle into our lodge then head out for an orientation walk. Our stroll through the village will end at the Engelberg Abbey, a Benedictine monastery with its own cheese-making operation. You’ll have free time to wander back before dinner together. Sleep in Engelberg (2 nights). Bus: 1 hr. Walking: light.
Bogura, often referred to as the gateway of North Bengal, holds great historical significance as it was once the land of the Pundra Civilization and served as the capital of the ancient Pundra Kingdom, known as Pundrabardhan. Throughout history, it has been an important administrative center for dynasties like the Maurya, Gupta, Pala, and Sena.
Today, our plan is to explore Bogura and visit its prominent tourist attractions. Our itinerary includes exploring the Mahasthangarh Fort City, Gokul Medh, Parshuram’s Palace, Govinda Vita, and Vashu Vihara. We aim to cover all these fascinating places. After a day filled with exploration, we will return to our hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

Our morning agenda includes embarking on a day trip from Bogura to Naogaon using any available mode of transportation. Naogaon is celebrated for its rich cultural and historical heritage, with the notable Sompur Buddhist Mahavihara standing out as a renowned attraction. This magnificent site has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and holds great significance as one of the five ancient universities constructed in the Indian subcontinent.
Our visit to this educational institution is scheduled for the fourth day of our tour. Afterward, we will return to Bogura and settle into our hotel for the night.

The availability of hotel stays in Mongla is uncertain. In case we are unable to secure enough rooms for all our travelers there, we will make arrangements for them to stay in Khulna instead. From Khulna, we will proceed with our planned trips to the Sundarbans and Bagerhat.
Sundarbans, the largest mangrove forest in the world, is renowned for being the habitat of the Royal Bengal Tiger. Situated in Bangladesh, it is also recognized as a World Heritage Site. Our itinerary includes a visit to the Karamjal tourist zone within Sundarbans, where we will embark on a mesmerizing canal boat trip to fully immerse ourselves in the beauty of this enchanting forest.
NB: During the months of June to August, tourism activities are restricted within the Sundarbans to ensure the safe breeding and movement of fish and wildlife. Consequently, if this tour is booked during that period, we will modify the itineraries to include alternative tourist spots for travelers to visit instead.

Our itinerary includes a visit to Bagerhat, an important city in southwestern Bangladesh renowned for its Islamic architecture, medieval history, and UNESCO World Heritage Site. During our time in Bagerhat, we plan to explore several significant landmarks such as the Bagerhat Museum, the Nine Dome Mosque, the Tomb of Khan Jahan, and the Sixty Dome Mosque. In addition to sightseeing, we aim to immerse ourselves in the local culture and visit other interesting spots. After concluding our Bagerhat tour, we will head to Barisal and settle in at our hotel.

On this day, we will explore the floating life in Barishal. We will make a boat tour to the different floating markets and explore the local lifestyle in Barishal. In the evening, we will start our journey to Dhaka from Barishal on an overnight cruise.

Today, our itinerary involves departing from Dhaka in the morning and reaching Srimangal using any available mode of transportation. Upon arrival, we will check into our hotel and take a short break to relax. Subsequently, our goal is to visit and discover the numerous tourist attractions in Srimangal as much as possible within the available time.

Today, our plan is to thoroughly explore Srimangal and the nearby areas. Srimangal offers an exceptional combination of natural beauty, cultural immersion, and exciting adventures that we aim to experience to the fullest.
As part of our itinerary, we will explore Lawachara National Park and visit villages inhabited by small ethnic minorities like Khasia and Manipuri. Additionally, we will enjoy a brief sightseeing tour of a tea garden and treat ourselves to the famous 7-layer tea at Neelkanta Tea Cabin.
Later in the day, we will return to our hotel for an overnight stay.

We will start our return journey from Srimangal in the morning by train, bus, or any other available transport. We will end our tour after our arrival at Dhaka Airport.
